Darn Cute Dog Clothes started as a result of my need for something warm for our large dogs on cold winter days and nights.

Having several very large dogs made it difficult to get them each their own jacket that fit nicely and did not cost a fortune. Unable to find anything I really liked, I sat down with my daughter and began to sew.

It started with just warm fleece sweatshirts for them to wear at night. Then a rain jacket, then walking jackets for dry cold days, and of course they all had to have their names on them so everyone knows who is who.

Soon friends and family were asking if I could make something for their pets as well. After making several items for big and small dogs I thought it would be fun to make them to sell. Then one day after much discussion my daughter decided she wanted a small dog she could carry around. That’s when the little one (A Chihuahua Daschund mix) came to live with us. Since all the big dogs had outfits to wear the little one needed some too. And how fun it is dressing small dogs too!!!!! So with my daughters eye for fashion we began creating, sewing and selling at local afternoon and weekend summer markets. When winter came we decided to go online in hopes that we have something to offer for every one. So here we are.
